Several types of cookies exist: some are required to navigate the Site, some others are aimed at different purposes such as ensuring internal safety, administering the system, performing statistical analyses, understanding which Site sections are more interesting to users or offering a customised visit of the Site.

The Site uses technical cookies and not profiling cookies.

They are not used for further purposes and are normally installed directly by the owner or manager of the web site.

They may be broken down into:

• navigation or session cookies, which ensure normal navigation and use of the web site (for example allowing a user to make a purchase or log in to access reserved areas)
• cookies analytics, regarded as technical cookies where they are directly used by the site manager in order to collect information, in aggregated form, about the number of users and the way in which these visit the site itself
• functionality cookies, allowing the user to navigate based on a number of selected criteria (such as for example language, the goods selected for purchase) in order to improve the service provided thereto.

Disabling cookies might limit the possibility to use the Site and fully exploit the functionalities and services offered by the Site.

Types of Cookies Being Used

First-Party Cookies:

Third-Party Cookies:
Third-party cookies are set by a domain other than that visited by the user. If a user visits a site and a different company sends the information exploiting said site, then third-party cookies are present.

The so-called ‘session cookies’ are stored temporarily and are deleted when the user closes the browser. In addition, Giambrocono & C. S.p.A. uses cookies for purposes of system administration. The Site might contain links to other sites. Giambrocono & C. S.p.A. has no access to or control over cookies, web bacons and other tracking technologies used on third-party sites which the user can access from the Site, on the availability, on any content and material which is published or achieved through said sites and on the relevant methods of processing personal data; in this connection, Giambrocono & C. S.p.A., in consideration of the huge amount of said third-party sites, expressly disclaims any liability connected thereto. The user should check for the privacy policy of third-party sites the user accesses from the Site, so as to know the applicable terms and conditions of the processing of personal data, since the Privacy Policy of Giambrocono & C. S.p.A. only applies to the Site as defined above.

Persistent Cookies:
Persistent cookies are stored on the user’s device between browser sessions, allowing the user’s preferences or actions in a site to be memorised. They can be used for different purposes, such as for example to memorise preferences and choices when the Site is used.

They include, for example, cookies allowing protected areas of the Site to be accessed. These cookies do not collect information for marketing purposes and cannot be disabled.
