WIPO CONVENTION - Four new accessions

We are pleased to report that the International trade mark system has four new upcoming memberships.

The instruments of accession to the Convention establishing the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO, http://www.wipo.int/portal/en/index.html) will make the Convention enter into force:

- in Thailand starting from 7 November 2017,

- in the Marshall Islands starting from 11 December 2017,

- in East Timor starting from 12 December 2017,

- in Indonesia starting from 2 January 2018.

Starting from these dates, it will be possible to claim protection also in said four Countries filing trademark (but also patent and international design) applications.
